The Emporia Country Club was established in 1911 by a group of local businessmen looking for a common setting to enjoy friendship, good food, golf and social occasions. The Club has shared a rich heritage with the beautiful city of Emporia for over 100 years at the original location of 18th and Rural.
2024 has brought a major change to the ownership of the property and name change to Champions Landing. This property is no longer a ‘members only’ facility and is a welcoming place for all to enjoy.
Champions Landing offers a challenging 9 hole golf course with 6 sand traps and a 8 acre pond featuring Bermuda grass fairways, Zoysia tees and bent grass greens. With two sets of tees on each the course for Men is 6,309 yards long and plays to par 72, the course for ladies is 5,335 yard par 72.
The disc golf course is one of the most challenging and prestigious courses in the world and has been host to numerous World Championships at the professional, amateur, and junior level. Disc golfers from all over the world seek Emporia as a disc golf destination with Champions Landing creating that unforgettable experience.
Amenities
In addition to the golf course, disc golf course, pickleball and practice facilities, Champions Landing offers a relaxing swimming pool, dining facilities, and a wide variety of social activities including fishing at the pond and walking around the cart path trails.
Membership options are available for those who want unlimited use of the golf course and facilities. There are 20 carts that can be rented or one can simply bring their own cart. Additionally, there is also a cart storage building that may be leased with annual fees for electric and gas carts.
